UC Master Gardeners Russ Baldocchi and Janet Rogers will present a research-based workshop discussing elements of dormant pruning to control both the size of the trees and fruit quality, followed by hands-on practical pruning experience in the garden led by experienced pruners.

This is an in-depth treatment of this essential part of the backyard tree-care calendar. Bring your own gloves and pruners if you have them. Additional pruners will be available to borrow on site.
